Terms of Service

Last updated: June 25, 2026

These Terms govern your use of the KOREANA website and mobile app (the "Service"), operated by KOREANA ("KOREANA," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who may use the Service

The Service is intended for businesses arranging catering for productions and events. You must be at least 18 and authorized to place orders on behalf of your production or company.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile → Delete account.

3. Orders, quotes & payment

Placing an order in the app is a request, not a confirmed contract. An order is only confirmed once KOREANA accepts it. Prices, availability, delivery windows, and final amounts are confirmed and invoiced by KOREANA outside the app; no payment is taken in the app. We may decline or cancel any order.

4. Food, allergens & dietary requests

Our food is prepared in kitchens that also handle common allergens including gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, and shellfish. We cannot guarantee that any item is free of any allergen or of cross-contact. Dietary notes and requests are accommodated on a best-effort basis and are not a guarantee. If anyone has a severe allergy, contact us directly before ordering; you are responsible for confirming suitability for your crew.

5. Photos & imagery

Food photos and other imagery on the Service are for illustration only and may be stylized or digitally created (including with AI). They are representations, not a guarantee: actual dishes may vary in appearance, ingredients, portion size, packaging, and presentation. Menu items, availability, and details may change without notice.

6. Messages & acceptable use

The in-app chat is for communicating with our team about your order. Do not use the Service to post unlawful, abusive, or infringing content, to impersonate others, or to interfere with the Service. You retain your content and grant us a license to use it to operate the Service.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its content, branding, and software, is owned by KOREANA and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KOREANA will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to KOREANA for the order giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold KOREANA harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms; we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
